A MESSAGE FROM OUR PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL

 We, the Parish Pastoral Council and Finance Committees welcome you to our wonderful Parish Family. At St. Vital, the Eucharist is the source and summit of our parish life. As our parish gathers as a family, we earnestly invite you to join in our joyful thanks to God for the gifts in our life. Our parish has been in existence since 1877 and still continues to be a vibrant, active part of the Universal Church and local community. From the early days of our first settlers, to the present, we have been here to serve God's Holy People in various activities and out-reach ministries.

Our councils were elected to spread the Good News of Salvation, and serve the parish in our role as servant-leaders. As we gather together for the Most Holy Eucharist, we draw strength to serve the parishioners who put their trust in us. We invite you in a special way to become part of our happy little church, and hope to be able to help and support you on your Christian journey.

To paraphrase the words of the former Pope Benedict XVI, "We have been elected to not to impose our own ideas, but to listen to the voice of the faithful, and obey the will of the Holy Spirit."
